Roderigo He is a very rich and wealthy men. He is in love with Desdemona but she married Othello instead of marrying him. In the inside he is a very good man but he will do anything for Desdemona

Iago Iago is not so good and will try to take advantage of Othello any second he wants. He has a very unique way of speaking he talks in such a deceptive manner. Iago is also a liar he invents everything he can to make conflicts.

Brabantio He is a senator and is also the father of the lovely women Roderigo is in love with. Brabantio got lied to and was told that his daughter was in bed with a man. Brabantio and Othello are very good friends and have always got along.

Othello Othello he is the main character of the story and was also called moor. He is also the one who is married to Desdemona. He is a good men, he is honest and a good wealthy man.

Cassio Cassio is the lieutenant of Othello he has a very special role in Othello’s Life and chracter. Cassio is also "a great arithmetician”. He is a very handsome man, that ladies are attracted to according to the story.

Duke of Venice Ruler who finds in favor of Othello when Desdemona's father attacks Othello's character. He is always in favor of what ever Othello does.

Desdemona She is the daughter of Othello. Wife of Othello, and victim of Iago's machinations and Othello's jealousy. She is the noblest and most unselfish character in the play.

Montano In this story this particular character is Othello's predecessor in the government of Cyprus.

Emilia This character of this particular story is the wife of Iago. She is blind to his evil until she discovers that it was he who plotted against Othello and Desdemona.
