Problem Statement (trimmed)  We will be putting in print work from several sources. We're a small company that will be working with individuals all over the world via an online publishing website. However, before we begin utilizing our publishing software, we want to make sure other companies cannot take our online publishing idea so that we can push our way into the market with a niche.

Reading List Pros  Liked the intro article.  Gave a nice synopsis of all four types of IP.  Information was easy to understand  Surveys thought copyright costs were nice and helpful (although it could have used some expounding)  Liked the intro article.  Gave a nice synopsis of all four types of IP.  Information was easy to understand  Surveys thought copyright costs were nice and helpful (although it could have used some expounding)

Reading List Cons  The manual didn ’ t seem very helpfulmanual  Focused a lot on copyrights and less on trademarks  Seemed repetitive at times  The manual didn ’ t seem very helpfulmanual  Focused a lot on copyrights and less on trademarks  Seemed repetitive at times

Presentation Pros  We all seemed to like the videos  You didn ’ t rely on your slides for your oral presentation  You gave good, solid recommendations that directly pertained to the questions asked  We all seemed to like the videos  You didn ’ t rely on your slides for your oral presentation  You gave good, solid recommendations that directly pertained to the questions asked

Presentation Cons  Surveys said you could have seemed more interested  Videos overlapped the other group  Didn ’ t focus much on “ do it yourself ” options  Could be useful for small firms  Little class interaction  Surveys said you could have seemed more interested  Videos overlapped the other group  Didn ’ t focus much on “ do it yourself ” options  Could be useful for small firms  Little class interaction

Conclusion  Good overall, could have benefited from exploring self-reliant trademark and copyright methods  Addressed the questions very well  We, the consumer, feel decently sold on the idea, but need to research “ do it yourself ” material before moving forward with your recommendation  Good overall, could have benefited from exploring self-reliant trademark and copyright methods  Addressed the questions very well  We, the consumer, feel decently sold on the idea, but need to research “ do it yourself ” material before moving forward with your recommendation
