 University of Edinburgh (IGMM/MMC)  University of Dundee (Health Informatics Centre)  University of Glasgow (Robertson Centre)  University of Aberdeen (Foresterhill Health Centre)  NHS Scotland (Information Services Division)  Not forgetting… Who is Generation Scotland? 17,322+ volunteers

Generation Scotland aims to:  Recruit a prospective, intensively phenotyped family based cohort and associated control sample sets  Identify genetic contributions to complex disease & related quantitative traits  Apply genomics, bioinformatics and systems biology to public health for the diagnosis, prognosis & prevention of ill health  Act as a platform for translational research, rational drug discovery & clinical trials What does Generation Scotland do? Generation Scotland aims to create more effective treatments based on gene knowledge.
