History Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA) Founded: June 2006 by an initiative of the Directorate General for Culture and Education of the European Commission Volunteer organisation Administered by the service provider Over 7,500 EMA students & alumni as members 6

EMA Objectives Serve the interests of Erasmus Mundus alumni and students Create professional and personal networks Foster international careers of Erasmus Mundus graduates Provide a channel of communication Give recommendations to potential students 7
