Alkarma Language School The Magic Flute Chapter 9 The Emperor in danger Read pages 35 till 38.

Alkarma Language School The Emperor tried to find the golden bird in the forest, but he couldn’t. When he heard the sound of a flute in the evening, he followed the sound. Page 35

Alkarma Language School The Emperor saw Chang playing the flute, and people and animals were listening to him. He saw the golden bird sitting on a branch at the top of a tree, singing with Chang’s music. Page 36

Alkarma Language School Suddenly, the golden bird flew up, sang one short song & flew into the forest. Among the animals that were listening to Chang & the bird, there were some wolves. The wolves made a circle round the Emperor making a rough sound & showing their teeth. The Emperor was in danger & he shouted to Chang for help. Page 37

Alkarma Language School Chang told the Emperor that he is a greedy, jealous man. Chang told the Emperor that he will help him if the Emperor agrees to give half of his money to his people. The Emperor thought of this deal, but when one of the wolves snarled again, he agreed to do what Chang asked for. Chang played his flute, so the wolves went back to the forest. Page 38
