Texas Sets the Story Straight Physical Education vs. Physical Activity Are they the same? Moderate or Vigorous Physical Activity What does this mean? NO! Physical Education programs are opportunities for students to be engaged in instruction about motor skills, fitness education, cooperative skills and MORE! Physical activity is bodily movement of any type and does not have to be formal (RECESS). NO!
