Compact ERL: 200 MeV ERL : Energy Recovery Linac Light Source –(According to the JSSRR recommendation) 5 GeV ERL is one of the most promising next generation machines –Science opportunity complementary to XFEL Action before the ERL approval –Construct a compact ERL as the prototype and a THz light source
