Presentation transcript:

I am going to fly on an airplane.

We will drive a car to the airport and park our car.

After we park, we can take our bags inside the airport. We will probably wait in line.

The person at the counter will take our bags and put them on the plane. We will get our bags back after the plane trip.

The airport security workers will probably ask us to take off our shoes.

Our shoes and bags go in a box. They will move through a machine and come out the other side!

The airport worker might open our bags and touch our stuff. That is their job. The rules say: airport workers have to look at some peoples things before they can fly.

I will walk through a security machine at the airport. Sometimes it makes a ding or buzz sound. If it makes a sound then I may need to walk through again.

The worker tells us when it is time to get our things. We can put our shoes back on now.

When we are in the airport, It is very important that I stay with Mom and Dad. I should try to hold Moms hand.

We might stop to find out where our airplane is parked. That is called the gate.

Usually people sit in chairs and wait for their plane at the gate.

When the plane is ready, we will get on and find our seat. A lot of other people will get on the plane with us.

People wear seatbelts in cars. People wear seatbelts on planes. Seat belts help us be safe.

When the plane starts to fly, I will hear loud noises.

My ears and tummy might feel weird. I can chew gum and wear my earphones to help me feel better.

The airplane will fly up above the clouds. Cool!

There are buttons on an airplane. I should try not to touch them unless Mom or Dad say okay.

Sometimes the flight attendant brings us drinks and a small snack when we fly. WOW!

I can play with toys, listen to music or watch my movies on the plane

When it is time for the plane to land, I will hear a loud noise again.

My ears and tummy might feel weird again. I can chew gum and wear my earphones again.

When the airplane stops, I should stay in my seat. Mom and Dad will tell me when it is time to get off the plane.

Flying on an airplane is awesome!
