PCH9.2a Overnight Paediatric bed occupancy rate by trust 49 PCH9.2b Paediatric bed throughput by trust, average We have noticed an inconsistency that overnight bed occupancy (self reported to DH on an annual basis) for Newcastle (NUTHFT) averages near 67%, while average daily throughput is closer to 40%. We have re-checked the data for these indicators and believe the calculations are correct. This could highlight an inconsistency in the reporting of bed occupancy rates to the Department of Health for NUTHFT. Would anyone be able to comment on this? Note to NEQOS Newcastle
