Kings of Wessex – Module 1 Spreadsheet – Rocket / Shop

 In this module you will learn the following:  Basic formulas +,-,*,/  IF Statements  COUNTIF  VLOOKUP  Conditional Formatting  Planning  Evaluating  Trial and Error skills  INDEPENDENT STUDY  How to follow a set brief

 You will be expected to follow the examples and adept these to your own work.  You will be expected to complete all homework and hand it in on TIME.  You will be expected to try and find a solution to a problem before asking e.g. using the inbuilt help functions.  You will need to work and learn independently.

 This task is based around either a ROCKET or SHOP scenario.  There is a brief to work to. This MUST be followed.  The teacher will teach you all the skills you need to complete the task.  You will need to repeat the skills the teacher has shown you, so it is no good just copying!!!  There is a lot to cover so you will need to listen carefully and work hard all the time.

 The resources are all stored on the VLE  You will need to get used to finding information in various locations and putting it together.  There are a lot of help files already made for you, please read these first before asking for help.  In all cases the help sheets are designed to show you how to use a skill and not give you the answer.  Work can be completed at home or in school
