-”the ability to cause change” Energy -”the ability to cause change” -In other words “the ability to do work”

Potential & Kinetic Energy Gravitational Potential energy is energy stored within an object due to its position. Example: a yo-yo with the string completely wound up. Kinetic energy is moving energy (energy that an object has because of its motion). Example: a yo-yo that is moving.

Potential & Kinetic Energy Gravitational Potential energy is energy stored within an object due to its position. So, the higher up an object is, the more potential energy it has Also, the greater the mass an object has the more PE it has- it has more potential when it is falling

Potential & Kinetic Energy Kinetic energy is moving energy (energy that an object has because of its motion). So, the FASTER the object is moving the more KE energy it has. Also, the greater the mass an object has the more KE it has- Just like PE

Energy What happens on a swing or with a pendulum in terms of PE and KE

Energy What happens on a roller coaster in terms of PE and KE?

Law of Conservation of Energy Energy can not be created nor destroyed but it can change form. This is in an isolated system. Examples??? Who Trusts SCIENCE?!
