2  Regulations (10 CFR Parts 75 and 110) – December 23, 2008  Includes all NRC and Agreement State licensed facilities  Reporting requirements and IAEA access  Revisions to other Parts of 10 CFR, as necessary for consistency (Parts 30, 40, 50, 60, 61, 63, 70, 72, 95, and 150)  Information Collection – Completed March 18, 2009  Assessment / Vetting – Completed March 27, 2009  Formal Certification to the Dept. of Commerce – April 9, 2009  Submittal to IAEA scheduled for July 2, 2009 NRC’s U.S. Additional Protocol Status

3 Information Collection Process  NRC and Department of Commerce (DOC) use a joint information collection process  All NRC and Agreement State licensees use paper-based reporting system  All NRC and Agreement State licensee AP reporting forms are sent to the DOC Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) DOC/BIS forwards licensee submitted forms to the NRC  NRC reviews/enters data, provides data to DOC/BIS via CD  Future plans to develop and implement a computerized reporting system utilizing web-based forms
