AHERA TSCA, TITLE II ASBESTOS HAZARD EMERGENCY RESPONSE ACT (AHERA) A FEDERAL LAW PASSED BY CONGRESS ON Oct. 22, 1986 REQUIRES LOCAL EDUCATION AGENCIES (LEAs) TO INSPECT THEIR SCHOOLS FOR ASBESTOS CONTAINING MATERIALS (ACM) DEVELOP MANAGEMENT PLANS FOR EACH SCHOOL ASBESTOS CONTAINING MATERIALS IN SCHOOLS: FINAL RULE (40 CFR, PART 763, Subpart E) - October 30, 1987
