Central Park New York

Central Park Central Park is a city park in the center of Manhattan in New York City. It was completed in 1873. In 1963 Central Park was awarded the status of a National Historic Landmark of the United States and thus classified as a place of particular historical significance from the US-Department of the Interior. The Central Park now extends to a length of 4,07 km (59. to 110. street) and 860 m width between the 5th and the 8th avenue and is also called “green Lunge of New York”. With 349,15 ha it takes about 6%of the area of Manhatten. About 25 million people visit the park every year.
