The rate for children living with AIDS ranged from an estimated zero per 100,000 in American Samoa, Guam, Idaho, Montana, Northern Mariana Islands, and Utah to an estimated 36.5 per 100,000 in the District of Columbia. The District of Columbia is a metropolitan area, use caution when comparing its AIDS rate to state AIDS rates. The data have been adjusted for reporting delays.
