Purpose This lesson is designed to introduce some tools for Bible study.

Objectives List some tools for Bible study.

Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance Contains every word in the Bible (KJV) Gives a number code to each word so you can look it up in the Hebrew and Greek dictionaries in back of book

Young’s Analytical Concordance Also gives access to original languages Words are listed by immediate context Brief definitions

New Englishman’s Greek Concordance of the NT Number coded to Strong’s, so you can look up verses that use the same Greek word BAPTIZO

The King James Bible Word Book Gives current meaning of Old English words

Expository Dictionary of NT Words Offers definitions of Greek words in an expository format (in a biblical context)
