The state bird is the cardinal. The state flower is the goldenrod.

The state tree is the tulip tree. The state nickname is Bluegrass State. There are 66 colleges/universities.

Abraham Lincoln was born in Kentucky in(1809 - 1865) He lived in Kentucky for 7 years. He served the Congress till he was the 16th president.
