Words and Definitions Setting-the time and place of the action in a story. Climax-the point of the greatest interest in a story or play. Rising action-the point of the story that develops the conflict or struggle. Falling action-the point of the story in which it begins to draw to a close. Plot-The series of events in a story.

Instructions You will create a circle map just like you have been, but you need to follow these steps: -provide a definition for each word that is in your own words. -provide two synonyms for each word (remember that synonyms are word that have a similar meaning, but are different words). -provide a picture that shows the meaning of each word.
