A. An economic agent behaves rationally. What are the basic postulates of consumer behaviour? A. An economic agent behaves rationally. Meaning: Behaviour of an economic agent has objectives and involves a prudent (審慎的) choice among alternative means. In other words, consumer behaviour is not random or arbitrary(隨意的).
