Presentation transcript:

Trachea Slide No:3 Material: human trachea Method: H.E Naked eyes: its inner surface is mucosa hyaline cartilage is stained in dark blue, C-shaped ring of hyaline cartilage

Under lower power, the wall of trachea is divided into three layers: mucosa, submucosa, adventitia

High power: Epithelium, laminar propia, basal laminar

Serous acinus mixed acinus Mucous acinus

chondroblast, chondrocyte, isogenous groups Cartilage lacuna and cartilage capsule

Lung Slide No:31 Material: human lung Method: H.E Conducting portion Small bronchi: Large lumen; pseudostratified columnar ciliated epithelium; glands; imcompleted cartilage rings

Bronchiole: smaller lumen; thiner wall; epithelium transition; glands and cartilage; smooth muscle

Terminal bronchiole: smaller lumen; thiner wall; simple ciliated cuboidal epithelium; no gland; no cartilage; a completed layer of smooth mucle

incompleted wall; ciliated cuboidal epithelium. Respiratory portion: Respiratory bronchiole: incompleted wall; ciliated cuboidal epithelium.

Alveolar duct: Smooth muscle knobs

Alveolar sac alveoli

Dust cell: Macrophage Dust in the cytoplasm

Cortex, cortical labyrinth, medullary rays Kidney Slide No:32 Material: human kidney Method: H.E Cortex, cortical labyrinth, medullary rays medulla

Renal corpuscle: glomerulus, renal capsule, the parietal layer,The visceral layer

Proximal convoluted tubule: simple cuboidal epithelium large, brush border strongly acidophilic cytoplasm no clear boundary

Distal convoluted tubule: simple cuboidal epithelium flatter and smaller less acidophilic

Justaglomerular complex: Macular dense

Collecting tubule: simple cuboidal or columnar epithelium the cells stain weakly by the usual stains clear boundary

Medulla: thin segment: simple squamous epithelium
