M3 –Pro Gold Operating Guide www.ud-dental.net
The features of M3 –Pro Gold The first 4 files, all are taper 4%; the last 2 files, 2506 and 3504, designed for large canals. Can be pre-bent, make sure the files rotate along the canals. M3-Pro Gold files have better resistance on cyclic fatigue. Much safer than traditional files Each file is strictly tested in factory. www.ud-dental.net
M3 –Pro Gold Rotary Files Package:6 pcs/pack with blister packing Open file: #30, 8% (Blue) MP-1 : #20, 4% (Yellow) MP-2 : #25, 4% (Red) MP-3 : #30, 4% (Blue) MP-4 : #25, 6% (Double red line) MP-5 : #35, 4% (Green mark) www.ud-dental.net
Is it slow by 6 pcs files sequence? M3-Pro Gold sequence Familiar sequence Smooth working flow Reduce the risks of the clinical accident www.ud-dental.net
The purpose of M3-Pro Gold preparation: Build a good space and smooth path for canal irrigation and the obturation. The principle of M3-Pro Gold preparation: The final shape of preparation ensures a smooth path and retain the dentin as much as possible. www.ud-dental.net
Negotiate the canals by #10 ss. file Explore the canals carefully by using #10 stainless steel hand files. Measure the working length www.ud-dental.net
Negotiate the canal by #15 ss. file Negotiate the canals to the working length by #15 stainless steel hand files Repeat the negotiation until the size of canal reaches #16-#17. www.ud-dental.net
Dr. Ruddle emphasizes BIG THREE: Every 2 files ❶Irrigate ❷pound the debris with small SS. file, ❸irrigate again www.ud-dental.net
It is recommended to irrigate by 5.25% NaClO It is the core of rotary files operation to fully irrigate and clear the debris It is recommended to irrigate by 5.25% NaClO www.ud-dental.net
300RPM, 3.0N 1) Enlarge the apical area of the canal by open files Reduce the stress from the preparation of next files. Make sure the lubricants can reach the tip of canals smoothly. Keep a good hand feeling for the next files 300RPM, 3.0N www.ud-dental.net
350 RPM, 1.5N 2) Build a glide path by using #19 Path Files The path built by path files is smooth, continuous and concentric. Brush the wall of the canal when using path file reach the work length, to provide more space for the next files. 350 RPM, 1.5N www.ud-dental.net
3) MPG-1, #20, 4% (Yellow), prepare to the working length Lubricate the file’s tip by EDTA. Prepare the canal to working length by brushing motion. Keep brushing all direction of the wall to prepare the size of canal to #21-#22. Then irrigation, negotiation, irrigation with NaClO. 350RPM, 1.5N www.ud-dental.net
Dr Ruddle mentioned brushing motion many times in the video, which is the secret of Protaper ‘s success www.ud-dental.net
350RPM, 1.5N 4) MPG-2, #25 , 4% (red), prepare to the working length Lubricate the file’s tip by EDTA. Prepare the canal to working length by brushing motion. Keep brushing all direction of the wall to prepare the size of canal to #26-#27. The preparation can be finished if some posterior have double canals。 Then irrigation, negotiation, irrigation with NaClO. 350RPM, 1.5N www.ud-dental.net
5) MPG-3, #25, 6% (double red), prepare to the working length Be cautious to use the file 6% if the curve over 45 degree! Lubricate the file’s tip by EDTA. Just make this file amplitude strokes with every 1-2 mm instead of brushing motion. Then irrigation, negotiation, irrigation with NaClO. 350RPM, 2.5N www.ud-dental.net
350RPM, 1.5N 6) MPG-4, #35, 4%(green), prepare to the working length Lubricate the file’s tip by EDTA. Just make this file amplitude strokes with every 1-2 mm instead of brushing motion. Then irrigation, negotiation, irrigation with NaClO. 350RPM, 1.5N www.ud-dental.net
The finished preparation by M3- Pro Gold This preparation is finished with 6% taper The path is glide, continuous and without transportation www.ud-dental.net
Root canal obturation Cold lateral condensation: 2% gutta percha points are recommended only. 2. Heat gutta purcha obturation: We recommend to use 4% or 6% gutta purcha points www.ud-dental.net
More points about M3-Pro Gold files Build a straight-line access, make sure the files reach the apical or the fist curve with straight line. Relocate the coronal, ensure the lubricants arrives the 1/3 of the apical with the files. Keep the instruments be always lubricant especially at the 1/3 of the apical With short 1-2mm amplitude strokes to avoid the files to stop at one place. Don’t reach the working length one time, ensure irrigate the canal every 1-2mm. Build a smooth and repeatable access by each files www.ud-dental.net
How many times the files can be used? Anterior teeth: 30 canals Posterior teeth:15 canals( or 5 posterior teeth) Tip : One time use only is recommended if the canal is much too curved www.ud-dental.net
