…. a new concept in energy efficient lighting

2007:China enters the Induction Light market. 2005:Amko Solara of Taiwan enters the market. 1996:Osram and GE started selling their induction light systems. 1992:Philips introduced their QL systems in US and European market. 1968:General Electric applied for patents for electrode-less(Induction) lamps. 1890s:Basic principle demonstrated by Nikola Tesla. 2011: Karee Lighting (India), 1 st Indian Manufacturer, begins production of Induction Lighting systems. 2011: Karee Lighting (India), 1 st Indian Manufacturer, begins production of Induction Lighting systems.

A hybridised form of fluorescent technology, without electrodes(filaments). Power is transferred into the sealed glass tube through electromagnetic induction. Two ferrite inductors are wrapped around the tube. High-frequency power is delivered from the lamp ballast to the ferrite inductors. Alternating magnetic field created by the inductor assembly excites Mercury atoms in the inert gas-fill, producing UV radiation. UV radiation is down-converted to visible light by the phosphor coating on the inside of the tube.

The human eye is not equally sensitive to all wavelengths of visible light. This function shifts according to the lighting conditions. Human Vision in Day Light is PHOTOPIC VISION. Human Vision in Dark is SCOTOPIC VISION. Conditions between Day Light & Darkness activate the MESOPIC VISION. Normally, we are living/ working in MESOPIC conditions.

Metal Halide Gives less visibility in scotopic/mesopic range) Induction Gives more visibility in scotopic/mesopic range) Comparison of Metal Halide source with Induction Source

High-Pressure Sodium Vapour (very low visibility in scotopic/mesopic range) Induction (more visibility in scotopic/mesopic range)

The Scotopic to Phototopic ratio or multiplier:

INDUCTION LAMPS Long-Haul Trucks of the Lighting Industry Long lifespan due to absence of Electrodes(filaments) Minimal lumen depreciation over lifespan.

….the Indian advantage "The scientific man does not aim at an immediate result. He does not expect that his advanced ideas will be readily taken up. His work is like that of the planter - for the future. His duty is to lay the foundation for those who are to come, point the way" - Nikola Tesla

Rugged electronics design architecture to suit local conditions. High ambient temperature sustainability (-20 to 60ºC) Recommended operating range : 140V-280V Overvoltage and Under voltage protection. Prompt and efficient technical service and support. Capability for customized solutions.

GUARANTEED SAVINGS IN 3 YEARS Net Saving in 3 Years (Warranty period) per Luminaire beyond the payback period Rs.15, Net Saving in 3 Years (Warranty period) per Luminaire beyond the payback period Rs.1,597, In case Induction Lights are installed, due to lower power requirements, lower size of cables/wires, transformers, MCB's etc. can be used and therefore the overall lighting project cost will go down.
