Jesus Wept

The Story of John 11:1-45 Lazarus was sick. Mary and Martha asked Jesus to heal Lazarus. Lazarus died. Martha met Jesus. Jesus said, “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:” Mary and her friends met Jesus and wept. Jesus wept. Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead.

Jesus Wept Jesus was true man. Jesus was true man of sorrow. Weeping shows that Jesus was true man. Jesus’ humanity: Jesus wept for Lazarus. Jesus’ divinity: Jesus raised him from the dead. Jesus was true man of sorrow. Weeping shows Jesus’ sorrow for people’s pains and sufferings. Jesus felt pains and sufferings when He was whipped and crucified on the cross.

Jesus Wept Jesus was true man of sympathy. Jesus was true man of rage. Weeping shows Jesus’ sympathy for people’s loss and helplessness. Jesus was true man of rage. Weeping shows Jesus’ rage against the tyranny of death over mankind.[
