The Lord knows the future no less than the past and the present, and He even knows possible events that never happen and the actual events that do happen and the events in the future that will happen.

All of God’s knowledge is always immediately and directly before his mind.

Psalm 147:5 Great is our Lord and abundant in strength; His understanding is infinite.

Romans 11:33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!

3. What did the foreknowledge of God see?

A. The foreknowledge of God saw the CROSS and the shed blood of Jesus

B. The foreknowledge of God saw those who would be sanctified by the work of the Spirit

B. The foreknowledge of God saw the faithful in Israel & The faithful NT remnant of believers

C. The foreknowledge of God sees the way of righteous

Psalm 1:6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the wicked will perish.

1 Corinthians 8:3 If anyone loves God, he is known by Him.

D. The foreknowledge of God saw that Jeremiah would be consecrated and appointed as a prophet

3. Before the foundation of the world God saw things and chose things

Before the Foundation of the world = (God Chose, Predestined, and Adopted Believers) Ephesians 1:3–6 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. 5 He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.

Before the foundation of the world = (The Father Loved The Son) John 17:24 “Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

Before the foundation of the world = (God the Son Jesus possessed GLORY) John 17:3–5 “This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. 4 “I glorified You on the earth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do. 5 “Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

Before the foundation of the world Jesus blood sacrifice was foreknown = 1 Peter 1:19–21 but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ. For He was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but has appeared in these last times for the sake of you 21 who through Him are believers in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

Before the foundation of the world our names were written in the Lambs Book of Life = Revelation 13:8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, (Satan) everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain.
