Cross Section Craziness

We sliced horizontally and vertically Yesterday… We sliced horizontally and vertically

So, tell me… What is a cross section? What cross section do we get when we slice a rectangular prism horizontally? Vertically?

What if we were to slice our 3-D figure diagonally? Could we find a new cross section?

Cross Section Come Together! Check this out: http://www.learner.org/courses/learningmath/geometry/session9/part_c/index.html How many faces does a cube have? What was our largest cross section? The amount of faces a 3D figure has, is the amount of sides the largest cross section will have.
