Presentation transcript:

“I am BEING SENT BY JESUS TO BLESS OTHERS AND INVITE THEM TO FOLLOW HIM.” “I … am depending on the Spirit of Jesus in my journey.”

There is something foundationally crucial to our ability to effectively follow Jesus in recognizing our nature as those who bless others.

“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare. Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live. (Isaiah 55:1-3)

When one of those at the table with him heard this, he said to Jesus, “Blessed is the one who will eat at the feast in the kingdom of God.” Jesus replied: “A certain man was preparing a great banquet and invited many guests. At the time of the banquet he sent his servant to tell those who had been invited, ‘Come, for everything is now ready.’ “But they all alike began to make excuses… The servant came back and reported this to his master. Then the owner of the house became angry and ordered his servant, ‘Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame.’ “‘Sir,’ the servant said, ‘what you ordered has been done, but there is still room.’ “Then the master told his servant, ‘Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full.” (Luke 14:15-23)

“… faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead “… faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” (James 2:17)

“Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk”. (Acts 3:6) Are we able to see our circumstance with eyes that see beyond the natural, extending to others man the supernatural power of God?
