Fat Man Fat Man is an atomic bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan. By: Seth Hancock

How big was Fat Man? Fat Man was 10 feet long and 5 feet in diameter and weighed 10,200 pounds.

How many people were killed by Fat Man? About 39,000 people were killed and 25,000 more were injured. Lots of people died year after the bomb was dropped because it gave of a deadly disease called Leukemia.

Why was it called Fat Man? They called it Fat Man because it was so big and made a bigger explosion than Little Boy did.

What type of bomb was Fat Man? It was a implosion type bomb. It was made of plutonium.

Where was it tested? Fat Man was tested in Alamagordo, New Mexico.
