with Creative Arts North East Supported Volunteering with Creative Arts North East  Do you know a young person or adult who has learning difficulties and/or disabilities who is looking for a supported volunteer role? We are looking for friendly people who are happy supporting older people in community settings. We run creative workshops within residential homes, sheltered accommodation and in community buildings where residents have the opportunity to work with Course Leaders and volunteers to learn new skills, discover unknown talents and have fun along the way. For further information please contact Susan or Alan susan@creativeartsnortheast.com or alan@creativeartsnortheast.com   "Our residents have enjoyed discovering unknown talents and much discussion has been happening in our reception over our gallery exhibition of artwork and this has brought joy and recognition to the residents involved. I have no hesitation in recommending this much needed programme“. Quote from a manager of a residential home “The company and conversation is good, especially in a busy care home”. Quote from a resident "I would like to thank you for the sessions you have led so far. All tenants who participate in the group look forward to the weekly session and the feedback I have received has all been positive. The residents certainly enjoyed themselves and have been asking me if you are coming back to see us again".
