Final Project Survey Will the dolphins ever go to the super bowl? By Ryan Palomino

My first step was t find a small sample of data, So I asked a few of my friends if they ever think the Dolphins are going to make it to the super bowl

10 OF THEM SAID NO 5 OF THEM SAID YES Out of all my friends who watch football and don’t watch football I randomly selected 15 10 OF THEM SAID NO 5 OF THEM SAID YES

So out of my Small sample of friends, 67% said No, 33% said yes

P-hat is .67 and q-hat is .33 Mean 7.3

Confidence Level 90% Za\2= 1.645

Margin of Error E= 3%

So my sample size is 665 people, I better get busy. What I di d I had a few of my friends help me out and each of them asked 50 people and brought me back the data.

Data collected Said YES Said NO

P-hat and Q-hat 14% say they will go 86% say they will not go

That does not look good for the dolphins This means that they only have a 11% to 17% chance of ever going to the super bowl and a 83% to 89% chance of not ever making it to the super bowl.
