Why is Earth the Only Planet that Sustains Life?

Why is Earth the Only Planet that Sustains Life?

Earth is the only planet in the Solar System able to sustain life Earth is the only planet in the Solar System able to sustain life. There are several reasons for this.

The first reason is that Earth has breathable atmosphere The first reason is that Earth has breathable atmosphere. Living creatures require oxygen for life which is in Earth’s atmosphere and water.

The second reason is that Earth has suitable climate The second reason is that Earth has suitable climate. This is caused by the moderate amount of carbon dioxide in the planet's atmosphere, which is constantly refreshed whenever there is a volcanic eruption. The temperature on Earth does not go from one extreme to the other either as on the other planets.

The third reason is water The third reason is water. Water is the most important chemical needed for life next to oxygen. Other liquids contain poison. Water can be found anywhere on Earth in its three states: solid, liquid or gas.

The fourth reason is light. The sun provide Earth’s light The fourth reason is light. The sun provide Earth’s light. Plants use the sun to growth and produce the oxygen we breath. We have regular sunlight whereas other planets have longer period of darkness which is not good for growing plants.

The final reason is the Sun The final reason is the Sun. If there were no Sun, there would be no life on Earth. The Sun provides the proper amount of heat and light to allow life. The Sun’s gravity keep Earth from floating away.
