Headline rent expectations suggest UK rental values will stabilise in the near term

Although industrial rents are expected to continue rising firmly

The outlook for office rents remains broadly flat

Whilst rental values across the retail sector look likely to drop further

Indeed demand for retail space has been falling for over a year

Further out retail rents are expected to decline at the national level

And at the regional level

Expectations point to flat trend in capital values over the coming quarters

But robust investor demand suggests industrial values will continue to strengthen

Values across London offices are likely to remain steady

Near term capital value expectations remain broadly similar with retail still downbeat

The majority of respondents in London view the market to be in the downturn phase

Now a greater share see some relocation of business in response to Brexit
