If the rain continues, what do we expect the gene frequency to be for the tan colored hares? 3. What information do we get from transitional forms?

Group Review Choose a group of four Sit with your group of four Not three not five- FOUR Sit with your group of four Every member of your group must have a number 1-4 All of the 1’s, 2’s, 3’s, and 4’s will meet together to discuss their assigned question. You will then return to your original group and teach your classmates the answer.

1. What is DNA? 2. If two organisms have little to no DNA similarities, what can we say about their relation? 3. Why are homologous structures evidence for evolution? 4. Use the diagram to explain the similarity between Human and Zebras.

3. Why are homologous structures evidence for evolution? 1. What is DNA? All of your genetic information (traits) 2. If two organisms have little to no DNA similarities, what can we say about their relation? They are not closely related to one another 3. Why are homologous structures evidence for evolution? The structures are similar because they share DNA from a common ancestor and used for a different purpose due to a different environment. 4. Use the diagram to explain the similarity between Human and Zebras. They are not related to one another and only have one amino acid in common.

Review Partner up WITH ONE person in the class You must sit next to this person No notes may be used, just your brain! As a partnership you will describe the following terms to one another without saying the actual word. No rhyming, mouthing the word or spelling the word When your partner guesses the correct word, move to the next word. First group to finish the words win!
