Mighty Mike’s survival kit By; Mike DeBruyn

Fishing rod If I was trying to catch fish in the wild I would probably have a stick or something. But instead of a stick I could pack a fishing rod! And this fishing rod could help me catch fish. And of course if I have a rod I have to have lures ! And that’s why I would pack a fishing rod in my kit.

B-B gun If I run into a small, dangerous animal like a rabid squirrel or a porcupine I could shoot it instead of getting sick or hurt. So my B-B gun could kill fish to, so that makes hunting easier. Then again if I find oil I could light a fire by shooting the oil, this is because the force of the bullet is so strong it can light a fire when coming in contact with anything flammable.

Pack of lighters Instead of trying to light fires by rubbing two sticks together or something I could already have fire. All I have to do is find wood to light on fire with a lighter or lighters. So using lighters is a better way to light fires instead of something else like rubbing two sticks together. And that’s why I would pack lighters in my survival kit.

Water Bottles In the wild, let’s say you find water but you don’t know if you can drink it or not. So I would have a water bottle or two on me because I know I can drink bottled water. So if I get lost in the wild I would have bottled water with me.

Thick Rope If your trying to make shelter you have to have it stay together, so if you have rope you can tie it all together. Or if you cant catch an animal you can lasso it with the rope.

A Tent ( aka; shelter ) If you get lost in the wilderness and cant build or find shelter you can already have shelter if you pack a tent with you. All you have to do is put sticks up to make the tent shelter and then nail it to the ground.

First Aid Kit If you get hurt in the wild you have a one in a million chance of finding a healing plant so I would bring a first aid kit so I could heal faster than just leaving the injury there.

Chocolate If you cant find food why not have CHOCOLATE !!!!! It gets you energetic and it taste good. Plus it’s also food. That’s why I would bring chocolate with me.
