What is an invitation card? It is a card that you send out to ask people to go to an event.

We can use invitation cards to invite people to different events. a party a celebration a wedding

Let’s look at an example.

Begin your card with a greeting or state the person you are inviting. e.g. Dear Lily, To: Lily Chan The person you are inviting

Description of the event Write what the event is about. Description of the event

Write the details of the event. Date Time Place

Write or sign your name at the bottom of the card. The sender’s name

Ask people to reply to you. Request for a reply
