Applied Ethical Issue - Euthanasia Success Criteria To confidently explain the meaning of the key terminology. To be able to explain the law on euthanasia and to analyse public and political opinion towards any proposed changes in the law. To describe the law in other countries. To explain and evaluate to work of the organisation Dignitas with applies examples to illustrate my evaluation.

Euthanasia The term Euthanasia comes from the Greek words meaning Easy (or good) and Death. Eu – goodly (good/gentle) Thanatos - death It has come to mean the practice of bringing about the death of a person to alleviate suffering. It is an emotive and complex issue which raises a variety of ethical concerns and dilemmas. What do you think?
