SETTING The Family Yard During The 60s and 70s

CHARACTERS Mama: The Narrator Of The Story. An American Woman Has Two Daughters Dee and Maggie. Maggie: The Younger Daughter. Has Scars All Over Her Baby Which Made Her Unconfident Dealing With People. Dee: The Older Daughter. She Is Well-educated. Strikes To Her Traditional African Root. Her Personality Is Loud and Judgments. Hakim-a-Barber: Dee’s African Muslim Boyfriend (Possibly Husband)

SUMMARY Alice Walker Raised Her Daughters In USA. Dee When She Grow Up Returned Back To Africa and Married Hakim-A- Barber. When Dee, With Her Husband, Returns To Visit Mama and Maggie. During Their Visit Dee Finds Out Two Quilts Was Made Of Their Family Old Generations and She Wanted To Take Them With Her Back Home. At The End Mama Tell “Wangero” To Take Two So Dee and Her Husband Climb To Her Car and Went Back To Africa
