There are 19 CAE-CO institutions There are six regions in the CAE-CD program, each supported by one of the CAE-2Y or CAE-CDE schools taking the role of a CAE Regional Resource Center. These CRRCs encourage collaboration between the designated schools in the region, provide program and faculty development workshops for both designated schools and candidates for designation, and coordinate advisors for the candidate schools. Schools that are interested in becoming a CAE-CD can get support from the CRRC to assess the status of their program, have an advisor from a similar school assigned to assist with program development, and participate in workshops to help them meet requirements. Once a candidate school has a viable program and is within one year of graduating their first cohort of students, they are eligible for a mentor. The mentor is an individual from a designated school who has been trained by the program office, and who will help the candidate prepare the application. This program was established in 2016, and to date has had a 90% success rate with applicants. 247 Total Institutions 154 CAE-CDE 64 CAE-2Y 72 CAE-R (43 are dual CAE-CDE/R) Legend: State - # of CAEs as of May 2018
