Internal Boundaries - Voting Districts The electorate (citizen voters) are designated to defined districts with distinct boundaries Census - a count of the population - required every 10 years to ensure districts have close to the same number of people

Internal Boundaries - Voting Districts Reapportionment - changing the number of representatives granted each state so it reflects the state’s population This process is known as redistricting
