Inventions of China By Todd Meltzer

Gunpowder Some of the greatest inventions were made from China. The Chinese invented lots of things like: gunpowder, pistols, rockets, fireworks, and weapons. They invented gunpowder because they thought it would cure sicknesses. They invented pistols for war to protect their country. They invented rockets to shoot them from a far distance. They invented crossbows to make an assassination

Weapons They invented lots and lots of weapons for their country. They invented mines and bombs. They invented mines because they plant them near their enemies. They invented bombs to throw at their enemies.

Celebrations They use fireworks for many celebrations. They always use fireworks for Chinese New Year. Sometimes they use firecrackers. The Chinese invented gunpowder to make fireworks and firecrackers. Today many people around the world use fire works for many celebrations.
