Starlab at Rockville Centre

Why was the Starlab purchased for Rockville Centre? Middle School teaches Earth Science High School teaches Astronomy Creative teachers across all grade levels in the district.

How did Rockville Centre get the Starlab? Owning vs. Renting RVC Ed. Foundation Grant writing process team effort within department previous grant writers from other departments.

What is the Starlab? Portable system Dome Projector Cylinders

How does the Starlab work? The dome creates the space for images to be projected. The cylinder is an image of the night sky. The projector controls the amount of light as well sets the latitude of the observer (position on Earth).
