A balanced argument

‘Money makes the world go round’ and it’s the key to happiness ‘Money makes the world go round’ and it’s the key to happiness. Do you agree with this statement? TASK: Write an essay giving arguments in favour and against. DUE DATE: 19th December WORDS: 220-250

HOW? Paragraph 1: Write an introduction Paragraph 2: Give arguments in favour. Paragraph 3: Give arguments against. Paragraph 4: Write a conclusion, saying whether you think the advantages outweight the disadvantages or vice versa.

TIPS Brainstorm points for and against and decide which are more important. Use neutral style. Write a clear introduction which engages the reader. You could end the introduction with the question you are going to answer. An essay is NOT just a list of ideas. Link your ideas in a logical sequence. Use phrases to order, contrast, etc. Make sure your conclusion is a summary of what you have previously said.
