The Rucksack Project This term, our Charity task is to help people in Northampton who are homeless and living on the streets. The challenge is for each Tutor Group to aim to fill at least one rucksack full of essential items. Rucksacks are being delivered to people who are street homeless in town 8th December. Each filled rucksack will be counted and Vivos will go to the House that donated the most bags

 Rucksack essentials Rucksack or Holdall with Shoulder Strap Sleeping Bag  Fleece Jacket  Socks  Underwear Unisex Gloves  Hat  Scarf  Tins of soup and non perishable food ie: noodles, cup a soups, cereal bars, chocolate etc  Spoon - plastic only please

Optional extras Flask Sweets Sanitary Items for ladies Toothpaste Deodorant (roll on only please) Packs of cards Puzzle Books and Pens Paper Backs or Magazine Tissues Coffee or Chocolate Sachets Also a lot of homeless or vulnerably housed people have pets, it might not be a choice for everyone, but donations of dog food will be very gratefully received - to a lot of the people we are trying to reach, their dog is their best friend or all they have.
