Who’s First? What is relative dating? Unit 2 Lesson 2 Relative Dating Who’s First? What is relative dating? Scientists try to find out the order in which events happened during Earth’s history. They use rocks and fossils for relative dating, determining whether an object or event is older or younger than other objects or events.
