Per Chair’s Guidelines 2.3 Standards distribution in digital format The distribution contains at a minimum: a) All PDF files for IEEE 802 standards that are active, withdrawn or superseded, that have been published by September 30 anywhere on earth. Produced once a year, initial distribution at November plenary session and the current version is available for distribution during the plenary session. ec-18-0152-00-00EC

2019 Challenge Nov 2018 Plenary is in Bangkok, Thailand. Minimum of 3 weeks to get electronic media through customs. Based on schedule analysis – Need to release media image on Oct 1 – Challenge, based on need to include all publications up to Sept 30 Current input is no publications between Sept 12 to Sept 30. Reviewing to see if any others might get pulled in. Issue will happen again Nov 2019 – Hawaii Nov 2020 – Bangkok, Thailand ec-18-0152-00-00EC

Proposed Changes Recording Secretary requests flexibility on electronic media distribution to determine best meeting(s) for initial distribution Allow electronic media distribution at Nov Plenary Jan Interim (might be multiple meetings) Mar Plenary Recommended changes to Chair’s Guideline Nominally, there will be an annual production with initial distribution at meeting determined by Recording Secretary (November plenary session, Jan Interim sessions, March plenary session) with the current version available at subsequent plenary sessions until the next annual production.
