Marching Band Camp July 30 – August 3, 4-9 PM at North Springs Schedule 4:00-5:30 – Indoor Music Rehearsal 5:30 – dinner provided 6:30-9:00 – outdoor marching rehearsal The expectation is that every marching student will attend camp daily for the full length of the rehearsal time

Things you need for camp Arrive hydrated, rested, and well fed Instrument Comfortable clothes for summer weather Athletic shoes with athletic socks Water – lots of water! Sunscreen Bug Spray Snack

Things we will provide… Dinner – usually pizza or Chick-fil-a with chips, dessert, and water. Students will have the opportunity for a vegetarian option Water – lots of water! First aid – band aids, etc. Sheet Music

Why do we do camp? Learn Halftime Show Marching – technique fundamentals and show drill Music – marching and playing at the same time is hard! Learn Stands Music Bond as a band family

Marching Season Rehearsals on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00-6:00 Friday Night Games Friday Morning Pep Band Pep Rallies Community Events

Rehearsals First Week of School through End of October After school from 4:00-6:00 on Mondays and Wednesdays Students will need to bring… Change of clothes for warm weather, athletic shoes, etc Water Sunscreen, bug spray, etc Snack Attendance will impact PE credit waiver
