START Top Class 4 A musical journey exploring Winter music through the musical elements Key skills: listening, performing and composing Week 1: Find out about Antonio Vivaldi, listen to one of his pieces of music, then draw a picture about it. Week 2: Listen to ‘Snowflakes Dancing’ by Debussy and describe the kinds of sounds and the mood of the piece. Learn a song about snowflakes. Week 4: Layer sounds together to create a piece of music about winter, forming a texture. Week 3: Choose sounds of the right timbre to show something about Winter. Week 5: Create a beginning and an ending to your piece about Winter, to create a structure. FINISH
