Capitalism, Communism, and Socialism

Capitalism Capitalism the economic system that believes that the government should not control people People on the right side of the political spectrum tend to support capitalism. The beliefs of Capitalism people should make as much money as they want there will be a difference between the rich and poor people should own their own businesses pay for education pay for health care

Communism Communism -the economic system that believes the government should control everything. - Communism is usually a form of totalitarianism. - People on the far left of the political spectrum believe in this. The beliefs about communism -the government should decide how much money you make -everyone is the same (no rich and poor) -free education -free health care

Socialism -Socialism is the belief that people should share the wealth of the nation. -This is a left wing ideology, but not as far left as communism. -Socialism does not require a totalitarian government. -Rich people will pay more taxes. -Many communist countries begin with socialist ideas, but then the government takes more control. -Socialism can also be defined as a “mild” version of communism.
