Meaning of Multimedia

Meaning of Multimedia Originally Today Two or more different media Products, processes, applications, and interactivity Teacher Note: Originally, the term multimedia meant making a presentation using two or more means of media such as using digital and slide projectors to make a presentation. Today, multimedia commonly applies to an extensive range of computer-related products, processes, and applications that incorporates interactive experiences such as going to a video rental store reviewing a movie clip and then renting the movie.

Growth of Multimedia

Growth of Multimedia Multimedia first emerged in the 1980s when desktop computers became more prevalent in businesses, schools, and homes. Growth in multimedia exploded significantly as technology improved, allowing animation, complex graphics, sound files, and video clips to be included in presentations.

Barriers of Multimedia Software Large files
