Three things about me I am a shy person which pretty much sums up that I am quiet. I am a creative person, I love to make scrapbooks. I am a huge Gator Basketball Fan, Go Gators!!! Just recently I’ve become a Timberwolves fan too.
Since I was in 7th grade I knew that I wanted to become a special education teacher after my cousin had her son, Jonathan, he has down syndrome. Two reason why I want to teach is that I want to make a difference in a child’s life even if its just by showing them that you care and help them receive an education.
A surprising thing about myself and my life is that I am a constant babysitter when I go home to visit my family. I have four older brothers, I am the baby of the family, and with having four older brothers comes the duty of being an aunt. I am a proud aunt of thirteen nieces and nephews. My oldest niece is thirteen and my youngest nephew just turned one.
In Five Years In five years I see myself teaching at one of the elementary schools in the town where I grew up, Immokalee. Graduating with my masters in special education will help me when working with each of my students.
