Adjectives We use adjectives to tell more about people, animals and things. e.g. It is fat. It has long ears. They are small. They have short tails.

is / are, has / have We put adjectives after ‘is / are’. e.g. It is fat. They are small. We put nouns after ‘has / have’. e.g. I have a cat. I have a fat cat. We can put an adjective before a noun.
